Stackly

About Stackly

A listing brokerage with four agents and one rule: we only represent sellers.

Our story

Started in San Diego in 2014.

Celia Marchand had been selling homes in San Diego for eight years when she noticed her best work happened before a house was ever listed: the pricing, the repairs, the staging and the first weekend.

She opened Stackly in a two-room office in Bankers Hill with that one focus. Maren joined in Orlando in 2017, Sami in Sacramento in 2019 and Desmond in Jacksonville in 2021.

We keep it small on purpose. Each agent carries about six listings at a time, so every seller gets a weekly call, a Sunday open house report and an answer the same day.

Every seller keeps the same agent from the first visit to the closing table.

How we work

01

Honest pricing

We would rather lose a listing than win it with a number we can’t sell at.

02

Fewer listings

About six homes per agent at a time, so nobody waits days for a reply.

03

Costs up front

You see what prep will cost before anything is booked, and nothing is spent without your OK.

04

Plain reports

A short note every Sunday: who came through, what they said and what we suggest next.

Desmond Akers

Listing agent, Jacksonville

Has lived in Mandarin for twelve years and sold more than 90 homes on the Southside. He hosts every one of his own open houses.

Our office

Our San Diego office is in Bankers Hill, a few blocks from Balboa Park. The agents in Orlando, Sacramento and Jacksonville work locally and meet sellers at the house.
